My practice is built on a foundation of employing resilience, empathy, and empowerment. As a therapist living with a spinal cord injury, I am attuned to the many and unique challenges that the world can cast upon us all. In confronting these obstacles, disruptions, and unexpected trials, we may be surprised by the strength that we find from within. Every day, I navigate the world acutely aware of my limitations but in doing so I am often reassured by my own resilience and purposeful resolve. Life in a wheelchair does not define who I am, but it does inform the way that I experience the world and the way that I understand and approach therapy within my own practice.

If you have experienced trauma or are living with a disability, you know how these events can profoundly change you and how you experience the world. In my role with you here, I will help support and guide you as you begin to recognize your own inner strength and resilience. In the face of overwhelming odds, it is possible to heal and even thrive – I’ve realized this in my own life and can help you discover it in yours as well!
