My name is David and I am currently a doctoral candidate at California Southern University. I was a former Unit Chief working in the public sector on various healthcare policy and program initiatives; however, I wanted to do more with my life and left my stable state career to pursue the mental health field. I am currently working on my dissertation and researching the efficacy of how martial arts principles can help individuals with traumatic experiences.
I am passionate and committed to working with clients with disabilities, trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and addictions. My commitment to serve our community has included volunteer work with various non-profits where I have helped abused women, children, low-income families, disabled, and the homeless population; Also, I am a trained behavior health therapist and have worked with clients with autism and other developmental challenges.
In session, you will see my sincerity, dedication, and commitment to making effective change and sustaining it. I will provide tools, interventions, and collaborative techniques that fit your needs. I am goal-oriented and data-driven. My mission and vision is to help you come out of therapy with a sense of purpose, progress and achievement.
