The primary focus in my therapy practice is helping others who may be struggling with stress or anxiety, including a wide range of anxiety based diagnoses such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Social Phobias or general phase of life stressors. Our world can be very stressful at times and I find my clients are often high functioning but often neglect themselves. Making that first call is a big step, and taking care of your mental health is so important. Anxiety can be extremely overwhelming and debilitating but relief is possible.
My primary mode of treatment is a highly highly effective approach called CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Making the connection between what we are thinking and our mental health has been scientifically proven to significantly improve mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression.
