Life is a wild ride consisting of its ups and downs and Nikki has always been a strong believer that the in-between of those adventures can be easier to navigate if you have someone to talk to. With an integrative counseling approach, Nikki aims to help her clients heal from their own traumas, overcome obstacles, and gain confidence to navigate life’s unpredictability. She provides an outside perspective to create a strategy best fit for their own individual situation. Together, we will identify the root causes of your difficulties, what those triggers are, and cultivate a path for you to live the balanced life you have always envisioned. Nikki’s goal is for her clients to walk away with skills and strategies after their sessions to use as coping mechanisms in their everyday life. Nikki has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has also earned a Master’s Degree from the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Touro University and currently holds a Nevada state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist intern. Previously, Nikki has worked in Residential Treatment facilities which focused on substance abuse and gaining life skills. Before opening up her private practice Nikki was a teacher for five years. Utilizing prior work experience as well as pulling from her life experience Nikki takes an intuitive approach to connecting to her clients to be able to meet their needs. Nikki’s main passion and focus areas are anxiety, depression, communication issues, life transitions, and self-work (self-esteem, self-love, and self-discovery).
