I am a psychologist, professor and certified mental health integrative medicine provider. I have a strong belief that all individuals are capable of living full, authentic joyful lives.
I believe that for many people, mental and physical health can be achieved naturally. Through my own personal experience, I have learned the profound difference that nutrition can make in physical and mental health. I am excited to help others learn the connection between their brain and gut health.
I am also passionate about body image and helping women learn to appreciate and love their bodies. Throughout my career, I have given many academic presentations on this topic.
I have been a licensed psychologist since 2005, and during that time I have worked with adolescents and adults in outpatient settings. As a professor, I am dedicated to helping undergraduate and graduate students reach their full potential.
I am a graduate of Spalding University and am currently employed at Indiana University Southeast as the Director of the Masters in Mental Health Counseling program.
