We did not grow up in an environment where we talked sex. We learned a lot of messages through words unspoken, through shame, and through secrecy. It is time to talk openly and honestly about sex. Sex therapy includes talking through kink/fetish interests, addressing out of control behaviors, working through arousal and performance difficulties, and all other issues that fall under the umbrella of sexual health.

Premarital counseling is an effective tool to strengthen relationships and can reduce your risk of divorce by 30%. You and your partner will start with an online assessment that provides further insight into your relationship. Together you will discuss the feedback from the assessment, celebrate your strengths, and continue to develop skills to enhance your relationship.

What I’m like as a therapist:
My aim is to provide a space for you to feel safe. A space where you are important and your words are trusted. A space to be heard, with dignity and without judgement. Your life, your thoughts, your feelings, and your behaviors are taken seriously. You don’t need to struggle in silence. Whether you are dealing with complex trauma or just feeling a little off; nobody’s problems are too big or too small for talk therapy.
You may feel be feeling nervous about entering into a marriage. Or unsure about what else you can do to improve your relationship. Or like you’ve spent a long time feeling hurt and afraid about the state of things. I am here to listen and to help.
Successful therapy relies on the trust and rapport between the client(s) and the therapist. I approach each session with empathy, curiosity, and a sincere desire to understand. That being said, therapists are people too and therefore personality is important. Just as you are not friends with every single person you meet, you will not match with every therapist. That is why you have the opportunity to schedule an initial complimentary consultation with me. It is a time to get to know each other and to explore any questions that you have.
