I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), with over ten years of experience working with children and families, and those formed through adoption and foster care. I offer individualized and family counseling services from a relational psychotherapeutic approach. As an integrated clinician my treatment approach is deeply rooted in attachment, and I utilize the creative arts therapies in assisting clients to communicate inner challenges.

I hold a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Photojournalism from Boston University. Additionally, I was trained in Art and Dance Therapy at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and I am currently working towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy.

As an adoptee in a mixed family of both biological and adopted children, working in the adoption field has given me the opportunity to share my own adoption story and search for identity. I draw upon my personal experience, and understand complex family systems, as well as the grief and loss surrounding adoption, divorce and the death of a family member.
