My name is Molly (pronouns she/her). I’ll tell you a little about myself as a counselor, so you can decide if my experience and approach may fit your needs.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University in 2016. Since then I’ve primarily worked with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, trauma, and life transitions. I have several years experience working specifically with college students and young professionals.
I love working with people to not only improve symptoms, but to foster greater self awareness, self acceptance, and overall sense of well being. My goal is to provide a space where you can explore yourself, your emotions, your past, and your current patterns in life. My primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Narrative Therapy. My personal study of mindfulness and yoga has impacted my therapeutic approach- I believe that it’s my job to accept and meet you where you are in your life, honor you as the expert on yourself, and incorporate a holistic approach to mental wellness that can adjust based on your needs.
