Has your marriage left you feeling drained because of constant arguing? Have you run out of ways in trying to get your spouse’s attention? Or, do you wish your spouse would just give you a break some times? Has someone you care about asked you to get help because of your temper, your use of pornography, or your constant sadness or worrying? We all face tough seasons of life. I would love to walk with you as you begin to address these difficulties–no judgment, no empty cliché solutions, just a good ear, an open heart, and some hope.
My approach to marriage therapy is based on the Emotion Focused Therapy model. Research has proven EFT to be one of the most successful marital therapy models, with 75% of couples ‘recovering’ from distress, and 90% having significant changes. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my counseling with individuals.
At home I enjoy a marriage of over 10 years to my wife and best friend, and have been a stay at home dad to 3 young children. I am an active member of my church, and a member of the Christian Counselors of Texas.
