As a social worker, I believe in the inherent dignity and worth of each and every person. Although I may have a Masters degree and years of experience working with a diverse array of individuals, families and groups, I believe the answers to your problems lie within, and it is my job to help you recognize that as we navigate a difficult time in your life.
Anxiety, depression, and other mental health ailments are more common than most people realize, and they are possible to overcome. It may be hard work at times, but we will get through it together. I offer both traditional talk therapy and more CBT-inclined approaches depending on client preference.
I have a particular passion for working with the LGBTQ community, whose experiences are unique and powerful. Please don’t hesitate to call or email me to ask questions and decide whether you’d like to schedule an introductory session.
